What tour did you travel on?

'Italy, the Deep South and Sicily in August, 2024.

Why did you select this particular tour?

Love Italy and love interesting beautiful hotels. And had never seen the south of Italy or Sicily. 

Who did you travel with?

Partner (Spouse) Benedikt. 

Have you travelled with us previously?

The Italian Grande, Best of British, Magnifico Spain and Portugal. 

What was your favourite place/s on your Albatross tour?

I didn’t do Mt Edna I stayed behind and smooched through the gorgeous town, then enjoyed the pool. Best day ! My favourite place ❤️

What was the most amazing thing you saw or did on your Albatross tour?

Lunch at Vittorio’s was amazing.  

What was your favourite meal on tour?

Best food for me was at Baguio wine resort. I’m vegetarian and I had so much to eat on this tour sometimes I had to skip dinner because I was too full. But this resort just did it right for me. Also the Caves hotel had an enormous amount of vegetarian food in their buffets. It blew my mind.

What advice do you have for anyone interested in travelling on this tour?

Be prepared for the heat. Take big hat and good shoes. Pace yourself with the food. You’ll never eat it all. And it’s ok to stay back and enjoy the gorgeous hotels if you feel you need a break from the day trips. But do it ! So interesting. Amazing people and food. I could do it again easy.

Would you recommend this tour to family and friends?

Yes!!! You see and experience things that others don’t. Off the beaten track. Time to really experience the culture and people. And lots of time to chill. It’s quality.
